VTB Capital takes top position in annual Thomson Reuters league table for 2016

 
VTB Capital secured top spot by deal value amount and by number of issues in Russian DCM, having arranged 92 transactions for a total of $22 billion (£18 billion) and taking a record 53.5% market share. VTB Capital also took the first place in the Russian ECM Bookrunner category by completing 5 transactions totaling $825 million (£677 million), accounting for 27% of the market.
In M&A, VTB Capital ranked first in Russia and across all of Eastern Europe, advising on a total of 15 transactions with a total deal value of $25 billion (£20 billion) and a market share of 44% in Russia and 25% across all of Eastern Europe. Furthermore, VTB Capital was ranked as the top house in Indian M&A with a market share of 24%.
