Kerry Logistics names new MD freight forwarding and global air executive director

Kerry Logistics has appointed Mathieu Renard Biron as its managing director of global freight forwarding and Patrick Cheah as executive director of global air.
It described the appointments as a “strategic move to push forward Kerry Logistics’ global international freight forwarding development strategy and further drive service enhancement across all industry sectors”.
Mr Biron will be based in Hong Kong and Bangkok, responsible for the strategic development and management of Kerry’s forwarding division. He has over 25 years’ international freight experience, especially in Asia, and has held significant roles in several logistics, freight forwarding, and manufacturing corporations since 1991. His previous role was Geodis Group’s regional vice president for Asia Pacific.
Mr Cheah joins Kerry Logistics from UTi where he was head of air freight for Asia. He is based in Singapore and will lead the group’s global air freight business and the development of its air products, tradelanes and service capabilities.
