LogiPoint’s holistic solutions to serve three continents

LogiPoint’s newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, Farooq Shaikh, has stressed the importance of providing high quality and advanced integrated logistics solutions, enabling Saudi Arabia to become a key hub between three continents in the global logistics value chain.
Talking to visitors at the Supply Chain and Logistics Conference in Riyadh, Shaikh stated that the logistics solutions were designed and implemented to help customers minimise operations costs, while increasing revenues and improving supply chain visibility.
Emphasising LogiPoint’s commitment to expanding its current investment base, the company will continue developing green-field and brown-field integrated logistics facilities across Saudi Arabia to help attract international investors.
LogiPoint serves customers in all sectors through both sea and land-based integrated logistics offerings, achieving competitive service levels in Saudi Arabia, while improving the efficiency of the Kingdom’s trade and supply chain – helping the country to become a key hub in the global logistics value chain.
Shaikh commented: “The first and largest Bonded and Re-Export Zone (BRZ) spread over one million sq. metres in Jeddah is an example of the world-class, customer-centric integrated logistics service area that LogiPoint has pioneered in the Kingdom, delivering a competitive advantage to its clients.
“It’s premium location and world class facility located in Jeddah Islamic Port has made it a major logistics hub in the region, providing services such as lead-logistics, trucking, warehousing, port services, turn-key supply chain integration from the port terminal to the distribution centre, specialised handling, labelling and co-packaging.”
Building on over 20 years of experience working with regulatory authorities, customers and other stakeholders, LogiPoint has already started establishing new Logistics Parks and Zones within the Kingdom.
The Logistics Parks South Jeddah is a 20-minute drive from the port, and lies close to two major highways, located less than two kilometres away from the proposed land-bridge station, which represents the western terminal for the trans-Saudi railway.
Shaikh stated that it was an honour to be leading LogiPoint and the Kingdom’s drive towards achieving Vision 2030 objectives.
