BIFA Freight Service Awards 2025 – Entries Now Open

The British International Freight Association (BIFA) has officially opened entries for its 2025 Freight Service Awards.

Now in its 37th year, the competition celebrates excellence within the freight forwarding and logistics industry.

Open to all BIFA Members, the awards highlight the commitment of UK freight and supply chain companies to high standards, innovation, and professionalism across all modes of transport.

Key Details:

  • Entry Deadline: Wednesday, 8th October 2025
  • Finalists Announced: Late 2025
  • Awards Ceremony: Thursday, 15 January 2026, at The Brewery, London – a key industry event attended by over 500 guests
  • How to Enter: Entry forms and full guidelines are available at awards.bifa.org

Director general Steve Parker commented: “Running annually for 37 years, our awards – which are free to enter – recognise special achievement and promote high standards in freight forwarding. Winning is a prestigious honour and a benchmark of industry excellence.”

  • European Logistics Forwarder of the Year (formerly European Logistics Award)

  • Sea Freight Forwarder of the Year (formerly Ocean Services Award)
  • Sustainable Logistics & the Environment
  • Value-added Logistics Services (new)

People Awards

  • Apprentice of the Year
  • Staff Development
  • Young Freight Forwarder of the Year
