AI adoption in the international logistics sector is accelerating at pace, and CenAI is emerging as a solution for forwarders and logistics providers seeking to supercharge their operations.
Launched last year by transport and logistics technology specialist Cen Global, CenAI is an intelligent AI layer designed to sit on top of existing global logistics platforms, enabling operators to interpret, validate, and act on data in real time. The result is a significant reduction in time-consuming manual workloads and unnecessary operational complexity.
AI’s use in Logistics
CenAI is now live across multiple logistics providers and are delivering impressive results. Early adopters are reporting faster processing times, improved data accuracy, and a marked reduction in manual intervention.
By leveraging in-built AI agents and machine learning, CenAI automates and optimises core freight forwarding processes, including customs documentation, shipment tracking, and administrative workflows.
Following several successful trials, Cen Global is now moving towards formalising agreements with a number of operators. This will be subject to final commercial alignment and delivery planning. This will see a phased deployment of key operational capabilities, including brokerage, booking creation, one-off quote creation and document attaching.
This structured rollout enables forwarders and logistics businesses to adopt AI in a pragmatic, low-risk way, minimising operational disruption while ensuring strong user adoption and measurable ROI from day one.
Improved data and efficiency
With global logistics providers under greater pressure to work smarter, more efficiently, and to improve visibility across complex, multi-tiered supply chains, the industry needs to evolve its approach to operations and technology adoption in order to better address the challenges of modern international logistics.
This includes handling traditionally time-consuming tasks such as ingesting and verifying customs data, responding to customer queries with real-time shipment updates, and streamlining back-office operations. All of which CenAI delivers.
It is estimated that around 57% of shipment delays are down to document errors by logistics teams.

While supply chain visibility research varies, most studies point to a significant portion of companies lacking real-time insights into their shipments.
One such report, the Tive State of Visibility 2025 report, which focuses on IoT and real-time tracking and surveyed supply chain leaders across multiple sectors, reveals that 37% of companies have no visibility into in-transit cargo, effectively operating blind during shipping. Furthermore, 60% of organisations only become aware of shipment damage after delivery, or sometimes not at all.
