DB Cargo UK welcomes new sales colleagues to support development in growing sectors

DB Cargo UK has introduced three new members to its Sales Team as it continues to expand its offerings to growing markets.
The rail freight operator welcomed Kathryn Oldale as Bid Manager and Rob Brewster and Phil McKennell as Account Managers for Intermodal.
Kathryn joins the company from Johnson & Johnson Ltd, where she was Bid Manager for three years. She will lead DB Cargo UK’s bid management process and drive business growth in developing industries including automotive, construction and intermodal.
“It is my intention to bring fresh, new and innovative ideas to the company and to deliver a world class bid management solution,” said Kathryn.
“I am also passionate about Corporate Social Responsibility and the benefit it brings to communities and our colleagues so I’m looking forward to getting involved with CSR activity at DB Cargo UK.”
Rob Brewster and Phil McKennell bring decades of experience to their new roles as account managers for DB Cargo UK’s intermodal sector.
They will support new and existing customers to ensure they receive the excellent and reliable rail freight services that DB Cargo UK provides.
Phil McKennell joins the company from EDW Logistics Ltd where he worked for 16 years, most recently as a transport consultant.
Phil said: “I have worked for a number of different companies in the transport industry and have over 30 years’ experience to draw from but at the same time I bring a fresh pair of eyes to DB Cargo UK.”
Rob Brewster has a strong background in the intermodal sector, having previously worked as General Manager for Business Development at PD Ports. He has held senior roles for over 20 years at market leading global shipping lines, third party logistics providers and ports.
Rob said: “I admire the values at DB Cargo UK and my consultative approach to sales opportunities and customer service fits in with the company’s ethos.”
