FreightSuite, the technology company dismantling the manual inefficiencies of the global freight industry, today announced it has raised $4.5 million in pre-series A funding. Led by Superseed Ventures with participation from Venrex (early investors in Revolut), Redbus and Ascension Ventures. In addition to industry veterans, including Mark White (former-President of Seko Logistics).

While the freight sector’s estimated worth is expected to reach $23 trillion in 2035, it remains shackled by “Legacy TMS” (Transport Management Systems) – software that acts as little more than digital filing cabinets, requiring heavy human intervention. FreightSuite challenges this status quo by delivering a fully automated, end-to-end forwarding process. This approach aims to drive marginal operational costs to near zero, contrasting sharply with the bloat and thin margins of traditional logistics providers.

Founders Approach

“The logistics industry doesn’t need another dashboard; it needs the vast amount of busywork to be done for them,” said Sam Moore, Co-Founder of FreightSuite. “We are building for a future where freight forwarding is autonomous, scalable, and frictionless—allowing our forwarders to protect their relationships, not their admin.’

“We wanted to bring Apple’s user experience and usability to freight forwarders, and combine it with F1’s approach to speed and accuracy.” said Will Jacobs, Co-Founder of FreightSuite. “A large amount of freight forwarding is exchanging and processing data between various stakeholders, be it shippers, carriers, truckers or customs authorities – today’s technology stack can do the heavy lifting for the data aspect of the role”

High-Talent Team Meets Unrivaled Industry Experience

The funding will be used to accelerate product development and expand FreightSuite’s engineering and commercial team. The company’s strength lies in its unique convergence of deep logistics experience and unrivaled top-tier technical talent. Co-founders Sam Moore and Will Jacobs have assembled a team drawing from the world’s leading institutions, including:

  • Tech & Finance: Apple, Google, Goldman Sachs
  • Logistics & Supply Chain: DHL, EV Cargo, Rohlig, Raft

This blend of expertise allows FreightSuite to navigate complex logistics constraints while applying the rigorous engineering standards seen in high-frequency trading and consumer tech.
