AIT Home Delivery, a wholly owned subsidiary of AIT Worldwide Logistics, has been selected by Livewire Telecom Limited, a fast-growing UK telecommunications and consumer electronics business, as its specialist two-person delivery partner to support the launch and rapid expansion of its television sales.

As Livewire expanded its product portfolio from smartphones into televisions, including models up to 100 inches. The business recognised the need for a delivery partner capable of handling large, fragile, high-value items with care, confidence and transparency.

Meeting the Challenges of Large-Format Deliveries

While traditional parcel networks were suitable for smaller electronics, televisions required a different approach. Livewire therefore partnered with AIT Home Delivery to ensure larger TVs are delivered safely, cost-effectively, and with a final-mile customer experience that reflects the premium nature of the product.

AIT’s two-person delivery service, including room-of-choice delivery, provides reassurance at the point of purchase. It is particularly important for high-value items sold through online and live-streamed channels.

“As we expanded into large-format televisions, we needed a logistics partner who could match the speed and innovation of our sales model while ensuring our customers received a premium, reliable delivery experience,” said Emily Gallant, eFones co-founder. “AIT Home Delivery gave us the confidence that every TV would arrive safely, on time, and exactly where the customer needed it.”

Delivering Through Peak Demand

AIT Home Delivery supported Livewire throughout its peak trading periods. This included its largest-ever Black Friday event, managing two-person deliveries for all large-format TVs during peak demand.

The partnership ensured that TVs arrived in perfect condition and customers were able to select delivery days and time slots. Clear communication was maintained throughout the delivery journey and brand reputation and customer trust were protected during high-volume trading.

This capability has played a key role in supporting Livewire’s continued momentum in TV sales. It provides additional reassurance ahead of an anticipated World Cup-driven demand spike.

Livewire’s use of TikTok as a core sales channel represents a highly innovative approach, combining entertainment, education, and impulse purchasing. AIT’s delivery model complements this by ensuring the final-mile experience is consistent with the expectations created during a live purchase.

TVs are collected directly by AIT from Livewire’s warehouse in Silverstone, with two-person delivery teams completing final-mile distribution to customers. This model enables Livewire to maintain a streamlined fulfilment approach while ensuring safe, professional handling of high-value products.

Preparing for Future Growth

With TV sales continuing to grow, Livewire is also exploring opportunities for European expansion. This ambition aligns closely with AIT Home Delivery’s international capabilities. Both businesses are well positioned to scale together, combining innovative retail channels with specialist final-mile expertise.

“This partnership demonstrates how specialist final-mile delivery can directly support fast-growing, digitally led retail models,” said James Langer, Sales Manager at AIT Home Delivery. “By combining Livewire’s innovation in social commerce with AIT’s award-winning two-person delivery capability, we’re helping to ensure that the customer experience remains seamless from live stream to living room.”

The partnership between AIT Home Delivery and Livewire Telecom reflects a shared focus on innovation, reliability, and customer confidence.
