Record registrations for Multimodal 2024

The supply chain industry event Multimodal is set to return even bigger and better in June 2024, at Birmingham’s NEC. With a surge in visitor registrations, industry-leading exhibitors and an increased focus on sustainability, it’s time to secure your ticket at this year’s event.

Building on last year’s success, Multimodal 2024 is already setting records with over 230 exhibitors signed up, including industry giants such as Amazon, CEVA Logistics, DP World, Hapag-Lloyd, Kuehne+Nagel, Maersk, Maritime Transport, Malcolm Logistics and Samskip Services. With expectations to exceed 300 exhibitors, this year’s event will offer unparalleled networking and business opportunities for visitors.

The 2024 exhibition stands out not only for its scale but also for its remarkable 50% uplift in visitor registrations compared to the same period last year. This jump in interest highlights the industry’s eagerness to meet at this pivotal event, offering an unmatched platform for networking, innovation, and growth.

Adding to the excitement, the Multimodal Awards have introduced three new categories in the Judged Awards section. The six Modal awards, nominated and voted for by attendees, exhibitors, visitors, and newsletter readers cover:

  • Air Freight Company of the Year
  • Road Freight Company of the Year
  • Rail Freight Company of the Year
  • Sea Freight Company of the Year
  • Port Company of the Year
  • 3PL of the Year

These will be complemented by seven Judged Awards, which require a short-written submission and are independently judged by a panel of industry experts and include:

  • Shipper/Partner
  • Sustainability
  • Young Logistics Professional
  • Technology Company
  • Best Warehouse Operation
  • Customs Technology Partner
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

The nomination window for the awards closes on March 29th, 2024, with finalists announced on April 9th.

Central to Multimodal 2024 is the commitment to sustainability, a cornerstone of organiser’s Clarion Events’ ethos. Joining the Net Zero Carbon Events initiative, Clarion aims to halve emissions by 2030 and achieve Net Zero by 2050. Reflecting this pledge, the event will feature sustainable practices, including collaboration with local Midland’s contractors and suppliers and the use of recyclable signage.

Furthermore, the exhibition and conference sessions are designed to guide cargo owners and shippers towards more sustainable shipping methods, underpinning the industry’s shift towards eco-friendly practices.
