What to expect at Euromaritime 2022

Euromaritime will be held from 28 – 30 June 2022 in Marseille Parc Chanot

Euromaritime is the meeting place for the French and international maritime community. Beyond the professional, technical and prospective issues, the exhibition is a genuine link between the different players in the maritime sectors. It helps professionals access the latest innovations and exchange with the main industrial, institutional and political decision-makers.

The event was initially scheduled from 1-3 February 2022 but Ouest-France le marin and SOGENA, the organisers of the exhibition, have decided to postpone the event to June. This decision was in view of the health context and in order to be able to hold Euromaritime in optimal conditions. Registered exhibitors will keep the same placement conditions, which will allow them to keep the same stand configuration. Similarly, visitors who have already ordered their badge for the February edition will of course have access to the exhibition from 28-30 June without needing to carry out any further actions. They will receive an updated badge.

Two years after its first visit, Euromaritime is returning to Parc Chanot with a new focus on all the driving factors of blue growth. Building on the experience of the previous edition, the exhibition has decided to open its doors to two new pavilions – one to welcome the maritime actors of the French overseas territories and the other sporting the colours of a Mediterranean maritime country: Tunisia.

The aim is to support the development of maritime and river-related companies from Europe, France and the Mediterranean, but also, in return, to create an environment that encourages a new impetus for the development of maritime policies and blue growth for the large number of local, regional, national and international players present at Euromaritime, by organising meetings and productive exchanges for all the industrial, political and institutional participants.

What opportunities does Euromaritime bring for the industry?

Herve Martel, Euromaritime President and Port of Marseille Fos CEO said, “The Mediterranean lies at the crossroads of three continents and is one of the world’s oldest maritime trading areas. It is steeped in history and today is more than ever at the heart of numerous issues. Recent economic upheavals reinforce our conviction that economic development strategies for the maritime world must be designed in accordance with the two major challenges of our time: respect for the environment and citizens and the inevitable quantum leap towards new technologies. Euromaritime is a unique opportunity to bring together the actors of the maritime world from the Mediterranean to share our common ambitions for the future, for the benefit of this exceptional forum for exchange.”
