Letter from Intermodal Event Director

Welcome,

On behalf of the Intermodal team, we are looking forward to welcoming you to Intermodal Europe 2022.

After a three year hiatus, we are thrilled to be back at the RAI, Amsterdam for this essential gathering of container shipping and intermodal transport leaders, professionals and suppliers. Nothing compares to the power of face-to-face meetings and the opportunity to hear from industry experts in a ‘live’, in-person environment. That’s the beauty of events – you can make meaningful and long-lasting connections over a relatively short period of time. What I’m looking forward to most is meeting as many exhibitors and visiting readers from ITM as possible over the three days of Intermodal Europe (8 – 10 November).

Intermodal Europe has been at the heart of the container shipping sector for many decades. We are an event which connects buyers with suppliers enabling business discussions to be conducted. We create the opportunity to evaluate trends and innovations and gather tactical market insights. It’s the ideal place to stay ahead of supply chain trends and source the latest solutions from some of the world’s most innovative manufacturers and suppliers.

I’m delighted that once again we are welcoming the industry’s leading names alongside some ‘first timers’. There is a huge range of products, services and innovations at this year’s event which will certainly keep you occupied.

We’ve created an engaging, free to attend, conference programme, with over 30 hours of enlightening live content, led by 60+ international experts and leaders. Our Keynote and Technology Theatres will provide practical analysis into the latest industry trends: from IoT and AI in Container Tracking, to Container Evolution and Box Tech in the 21st Century, Cold Chain Innovations and Greening the Supply Chain with Next Steps in Decarbonisation, to Asia-Europe Post-Covid Trade Routes and a Global Market Outlook. Further information for all sessions are outlined in this preview.

Plus new for 2022 is the Power Pitch Contest. This competition will see entrants get five minutes on the clock to showcase their product or/solution in front of our live audience and judging panel. The top pitchers will be announced at the end of day three.

I’m looking forward to welcoming the readers of International Trade Magazine to this year’s Intermodal Europe and I wish you a success and productive event.

Kind regards,

Rob Fisher
