Logistics and customs brokerage provider, CCL, recently sponsored and attended World Mail & Express Asia 2025, gaining first-hand insights into the latest trends shaping Asian import and export markets.
Held on 17th – 19th September 2025 in the Mira Hotel in Hong Kong, WMX Asia is an international trade event for senior post and parcel professionals, hosting three days of keynote speeches, case studies and open discussions.
“This year’s WMX Asia received a diverse and influential cohort of attendees -from major national post and parcel operators and innovative logistics support companies showcasing cutting-edge automation and robotics, to specialised customs brokers from every corner of the globe” says Snow Bai, Head of Asia at CCL.
Hosting over 200 attendees and 30 industry expert speakers, WMX Asia aims to drive Asian import and export forward through open discussions and collaboration.
As a key speaker for this year’s event, officials of China State of Post Bureau delivered their insights surrounding US import policies.
“The deep-dive sessions into the latest U.S. import policy changes were invaluable. Understanding these nuances is no longer optional but critical for any player looking to navigate that complex market successfully. As a cross-border logistics service provider working with many Asian businesses, we have found that staying ahead of regulatory shifts not only mitigates risk but also creates opportunities to streamline supply chains” adds Snow.
The event also highlighted recent advances in Artificial Intelligence, demonstrating how it is revolutionising logistics operations.
“AI featured prominently in discussions, showcasing how it can optimise warehouse management, predict customs delays, personalise last-mile delivery experiences and streamline data analytics for smarter decision-making. At CCL we believe it’s important to leverage new tools that enhance efficiency and add value to customers – all while maintaining the human touch that still remains important within our sector” comments Snow.
Since 1999, CCL have provided a comprehensive solution for eCommerce retailers and delivery providers seeking to simplify and expedite their shipments into and out of the UK and Eurozones.
With integrated services, global connections and a strategically located ETSF (External Temporary Storage Facility) warehouse, CCL can provide bespoke logistics solutions for Asian businesses transporting goods into Europe via air, sea, road and rail.
“We were struck by the powerful sense of community and forward momentum that defines the cross-border e-commerce logistics industry and we look forward to the next WMX event!” concludes Snow.
