Bahri selects BluJay’s Transportation Management for Forwarders Solution

Saudi Arabia’s leading shipping carrier extends use of BluJay technology.
BluJay Solutions, a provider of supply chain software and services powered by the world’s first Global Trade Network, announced that Bahri, a global leader in logistics and transportation, has expanded its use of BluJay technology to include the Transportation Management for Forwarders solution.
Bahri has been a BluJay customer since 2014, utilising the technology to track multipurpose vessels for its cargo business unit. With the extension Bahri will deploy BluJay’s Transportation Management for Forwarders application to solve additional business requirements. The modern TMS platform will replace an in-house system and enable Bahri to take advantage of ongoing product enhancements to stay current with market changes. In addition, Bahri gains access to BluJay’s Global Trade Network, the world’s fastest-growing collaborative network of supply chain partners.
“Bahri is pleased to expand our relationship with BluJay and move toward a strategic, future-proof platform that supports our immediate business requirements, as well as our long-term goals,” said Majed Al-Shenaiber, Senior VP of IT at Bahri. “As one of the largest providers of maritime services in the world, we believe it’s important to partner with a leading global software provider that can support our logistics operations now and into the future.”
“BluJay values our partnership with Bahri and looks forward to helping them serve their customers and business needs as they fulfil their vision of positioning Saudi Arabia as an important regional logistics gateway to three continents,” said Mohit Paul, Senior Vice President Sales EMEA at BluJay Solutions.
