Mario Veraldo boasts an impressive career spanning nearly 30 years in the transport and logistics industry. His journey in this field began with his role as Head of Process Excellence Latin America at Maersk Line in Brazil, a position he held from 2007 to 2010. Afterward, he became the Cluster Trade & Marketing Manager at Maersk Line in Mexico, serving from 2010 to 2012. His progressive roles at Maersk Line culminated in his appointment as CEO Middle America at Maersk Line, Mexico, which he held until 2018, when he chose to leave the company.
Today, Mario is the Co-Founder and CEO of MTM Logix, Inc., a company committed to revolutionising supply chain management using digital control towers. His almost three decades of international trade experience and proficiency in C-level leadership serve as the backbone of his passion for customer service and his drive to lead in an ever-evolving global market. His primary aim is to transform how global supply chains convert visibility into actionable insights by deploying customisable and automated control towers.
In this insightful session, Mario will give be presenting the topic “Nearshoring and the power of reaction into low latency supply chains”. As Mario takes us through the history of nearshoring, viewers can expect to learn about overcoming risks and challenges, with a particular focus on examples from Mexico, USA and China.
