WCAworld launches appeal to support earthquake relief

WCAworld has launched an emergency appeal through the WCAworld Foundation to support communities affected by the devastating earthquake in Venezuela.

The WCAworld Foundation has already begun coordinating relief efforts to ensure emergency assistance reaches those in need as quickly and efficiently as possible.

The strength of the WCAworld Foundation lies in its global network. With trusted logistics professionals already on the ground, the WCAworld Foundation is uniquely positioned to identify immediate requirements. They are also coordinate the movement of aid and ensuring donations are directed where they will have the greatest impact.

Members standing together

“Our members in Venezuela are already working tirelessly to support their local communities. Due to the unique structure of the WCAworld Foundation, we have been able to begin mobilising assistance immediately,” said Dan March, CEO of WCAworld. “Every donation received through this appeal will go directly towards helping those affected by this disaster. By working with trusted members on the ground, we can ensure support reaches exactly where it is needed most.”

David Yokeum, Chairman and Founder of WCAworld, added, “The moments that make me most proud are when I see our members come together not just as business partners, but as people united by compassion and a genuine desire to help others. That is exactly why we established the WCAworld Foundation. We wanted to harness the strength of our global network. We wanted to turn it into a force for good when communities face their darkest moments. Sadly, we are witnessing one of those moments in Venezuela today. I know our members will again stand together to make a difference to  those who need our support.”

Since its establishment, the WCAworld Foundation has supported humanitarian initiatives around the world. Its members have provided emergency assistance following natural disasters and helped communities recover through targeted aid and long-term support. By working directly with trusted local members, the WCAworld Foundation ensures donations are used effectively, transparently and where they will have the greatest impact.

Get involved

WCAworld is calling on its global community of members, partners and supporters to stand together once again by contributing to the emergency appeal. Every donation received during this campaign will be allocated directly to the WCAworld Foundation’s ongoing relief operations in Venezuela.

As the situation continues to develop, the WCAworld Foundation will continue working closely with its local members to assess changing needs and provide additional assistance wherever possible.
