Final Chance to Enter 2018 Talent in Logistics Awards: Deadline Extended

Due to overwhelming interest, the deadline for submitting nominations for the Talent in Logistics Awards 2018 has been extended until 30th March 2018, giving transport, warehousing and logistics companies a final chance to enter their valued team members.
The Talent in Logistics Awards are free to enter and recognise, reward and celebrate the exceptional professionals that are inspiring and developing future talent in the transport and logistics sector.  Entries were due to close in early March 2018, but employers now have 4 more weeks to nominate their team members at every level of learning and development.  Businesses are also invited to nominate their best training providers, and individuals are also encouraged to enter themselves.
To enter the awards or make a nomination, businesses and individuals need to complete the simple entry form for free online at www.talentinlogistics.co.uk/enter-now.
One-to-one support through the application process is also available if required.
The unique awards recognise a wide range of skilled professionals throughout the industry, from Training and Health and Safety staff, to Learning and Development, HR, Transport and Warehouse Managers.  The best forklift operators, LGV drivers and apprentices will also be recognised.  A full list of categories can be seen on the website:

After nominations close on 30th March, the awards will be judged by experts from industry bodies including the British International Freight Association (BIFA), British Industrial Truck Association (BITA), Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transport (CILT), Food Storage and Distribution Federation (FSDF), Freight Transport Association (FTA), Fork Lift Truck Association (FLTA), Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT), National Register of LGV Instructors (NRI), Road Haulage Association (RHA) and TH!NK Logistics.
The judging panel also incorporates representatives of Talent in Logistics media partners, including Forkliftaction, Freight Industry Times, Handling and Storage Solutions, SHD Logistics, Training Journal, Transport Operator, Truck and Track and Warehousing Logistics International.
Shortlisted finalists will be announced in April 2018 and the winners will be announced during a black-tie awards evening at the Telford International Centre on 21st June 2018. The Awards will be presented by much-loved TV sports presenter Jeff Stelling at the event, which includes a drinks reception, three-course meal and entertainment.
Attending the Talent in Logistics Awards gives employers the opportunity to celebrate with their exceptional team members, while also offering networking opportunities with other learning and development professionals, plus potential suppliers and customers.
Special deals are available for companies purchasing a table of ten, or for those looking to also book their place at the Talent in Logistics Conference, which takes place earlier that day at the Telford International Centre.
The Talent in Logistics Conference agenda includes keynote presentations, informative seminars, lively panel discussions and engaging debates to explore the key issues facing managers and instructors in the transport and logistics industry.  Educational demonstrations on LGV and lift truck best practice will take place during the day, while the Information Zone exhibition area offers delegates a chance to interact with leading, reputable logistics and training industry suppliers. The exciting live finals of the Forklift Operator and Forklift Instructor of the Year competitions will also take place at the event.
Promotional opportunities exist for organisations that wish to sponsor an award.  For more information contact talentinlogistics@captib.co.uk or call +44(0) 1903 204187.
