Multimodal will return to the NEC Birmingham from 29 June to 1 July 2027, bringing the UK supply chain community together for three days of business, networking and industry discussion. Running since 2008, Multimodal connects shippers, retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers, importers, exporters and logistics suppliers. Organisers describe it as an event where the whole UK supply chain community can meet under one roof.
The 2026 edition attracted 14,676 industry professionals and more than 300 exhibitors. It also delivered over 115 free conference sessions across three days. Conference themes included sustainability, resilience, technology and people. Industry organisations including Logistics UK, BIFA, UKWA, Rail Freight Group, CILT and the Chartered Institute of Export and International Trade contributed to the programme.
UK Logistics Week expands
Multimodal will once again form part of UK Logistics Week in 2027. The Warehouse and Yard Expos will run in an adjacent connected hall, giving visitors access to additional supply chain disciplines and solutions. Organisers also plan to expand the event’s last mile and fulfilment offering. This area will bring together technologies and expertise designed to help retailers and brands respond to customer expectations.
Road Transport Expo will take place nearby at Stoneleigh Park during the same period. Free shuttle buses will connect the two venues. Together, the events will cover areas ranging from freight forwarding and warehouse automation to yard safety and last mile delivery.
The programme aims to connect different areas of the UK logistics industry while giving professionals opportunities to meet suppliers, discover solutions and discuss the issues shaping supply chain operations.
