Priority Freight appoints new Group Operations Director

Priority Freight, a leading global provider of contingency logistics solutions, has appointed Andrew Austin as Group Operations Director. Andrew joins the Board of Directors and will be responsible for enhancing the company’s high quality, fast and efficient service to meet the current and future needs of its customers.
Andrew has spent his entire career in logistics, with over 30 years of experience across multiple markets including the UK, US and Continental Europe. Andrew joins Priority Freight from The Keswick Enterprises Group, where he worked as Senior Executive Officer. Andrew previously worked for Priority Freight as Chief Executive Officer from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that he was Vice-President Europe for Schneider Logistics, Managing Director Northern Europe for FedEx and General Manager Network Logistics for LYNX Express.
Neal Williams, Group Managing Director at Priority Freight, commented: “Priority Freight has experienced sustained growth and built substantial revenues in recent years. With six strategically-located control centres across Europe, Priority Freight operates 24/7 across the globe. Founded in 1996, company revenues exceeded €66m during the 2013/14 financial year. In 2014, the company completed over 100,000 expedited shipments.
